Important Warranty and general conditions

Unless stated otherwise all refurbished, service exchange and surplus new products supplied by us are guaranteed to be in working condition and are covered by our 3-month return to base warranty. All warranties are issued by us, not the manufacturer, and will be honoured by us. If the item fails within 3 months of the invoice date, please return it for a free repair or replacement. Repair, replacement or refund is not provided for items misused, damaged or used in a manner not suitable for the intended application of the product.

It does not provide a 30 day money back guarantee for items ordered incorrectly, or under distance selling regulations as we do not offer an  e-commerce solution.

Our liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement, at our choice, of any such defective product free of charge to our customer. If we decide that the product cannot be economically repaired or replaced, we will refund an amount equal to the sum you originally paid less postage, packaging or carriage charges.
In no event shall we be liable for any damages except actual damages up to, but not exceeding, the amount paid to us. We shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or loss of profits.

All items leave our premises tested and inspected. The nature of our business involves selling second user, refurbished or new, but older stock products that generally will no longer be covered under the Original Equipment Manufacturers warranty. This is reflected in the price of such items.

Whilst we thoroughly test all items, we are unable to guarantee the certainty of life span and lack of defect associated with brand new products. The vast majority of our products will far exceed the manufactures original warranty in terms of life span for functional operation although minor defects may be apparent on older products, we will do our utmost to highlight the condition at the point of sale.

We will provide a fair assessment on an individual basis on any item that fails to meet the standard the customer would expect within 30 days of purchase based on the price paid and the nature of fault the customer experiences. For example A refurbished motor that has surface deteriation will not be deemed unsatisfactory if it does not affect the function of the machine. An unused PLC, from a opened box that has minor cosmetic marks from handling will not be unsatisfactory.

Our aim is to ensure the customer is satisfied with the product they have purchased. If you are not satisfied please contact us immediately so we may provide an acceptable solution.

Delivery:

We offer a subsidised delivery service to Mainland UK made up of the following;

Free delivery, were indicated, on small items. Usually a 3-5 day carrier. Larger parcels  - £9.99 + VAT, Usually a 3-5 day carrier.

Pallet Service for heavier items - Quarter Pallet - £40 + VAT, Half Pallet - £50 + VAT, Full Pallet - £60 + VAT

Collection from Duotek Surplus Machinery - Free by prior arrangement
